Reverse Osmosis Systems are based on the natural process used by plants to absorb water from the ground. They separate dissolved substances from water by forcing it through a membrane which removes virtually all contaminants. Used for domestic purposes and will produce a maximum of 140 litres per day (depending on incoming water quality, temperature and pressure). Cartridges need to be replaced every 6 months and membrane every 12-18 months.
